On Wisconsin! Badgers hand Wolverines their first loss of the season

Ethan Happ and the Wisconsin Badgers earned one of the best wins of the college basketball season today as they upset the undefeated and No. 2 Michigan Wolverines at home 64-54.

Happ, a senior forward for Wisconsin, carried the Badgers as he scored 26 points, recorded 10 rebounds and seven assists. Happ nearly missed a triple-double by three assists.

Sophomore forward Aleem Ford had a nice performance off the bench making two big three-pointers. He finished the night tied second on the team in scoring with nine points. Sophomore forward Nate Reuvers also had nine points.

The Wolverines kept it closer than the score showed as they were within three points with a minute left. Michigan freshman forward Ignas Brazdeikis was called for an intentional foul near the end of regulation. This allowed the Badgers to take full control of the game.

Brazdeikis, who leads Michigan in scoring was held to zero points on the day.

With this win the Badgers have a signature win towards their potential NCAA Tournament résumé. Storm the court Wisconsin you earned this one!
